Who I am
I’m François, a French marketing practitioner. I’ve spent the last five years deep in SEO, growth and marketing automation — five years in which the tool landscape has exploded, with a new AI-powered SaaS launching every week — and I’ve bought, used and cancelled more subscriptions than I care to admit.
Today I run LeanStackLab to answer one question: which of these tools actually earn their monthly fee? I test them myself, publish what I find, and keep the fluff out.
How I test the tools
Every tool reviewed here gets plugged into my own stack and put to work on real tasks: my own N8N automation workflows, my own campaigns, my own data — real dashboards, real invoices. I sign up like any customer, connect the tool, run it for days or weeks, then compare the output against what the vendor promises. No demo accounts, no vendor scripts, no reviews written from a pricing page.
